What is Asbestos Testing?

Asbestos testing is the process of identifying the presence of friable or non-friable asbestos within building materials to determine if a hazard and health risk is present.

This information allows our technicians to suggest the appropriate management plan for safe removal and disposal without exposure to contamination.

Our technicians use three sampling methods to ascertain the presence and quantity of asbestos, and these include: swab, tape lift, or the cutting of a small sample to have analyzed.

  • Can you confirm if the property is safe to re-enter when asbestos materials are removed.

    Metro will supply a clearance certificate for safe re-occupancy by a qualified occupational hygienist after the site has been cleared.
